A woman and 3 men – members of the Vivenda String Quartet with string instruments sitting in front of the building

Vivenda String Quartet

The band consists of: Paulina Parol (1st violin), Tymoteusz Pietrzak (2nd violin), Gustaw Klubczewski (viola) and Mateusz Kabziński (cello). The above-mentioned artists met for the first time during chamber music classes in the class of Dr hab. Robert Fender at his alma mater four years ago. This is how they started their musical journey together. During this time, they have accumulated a wide repertoire, thanks to which they give concerts more and more often, including: as part of events at the Alfred Biedermann’s Palace, the Museum of the City of Łódź and the Gazebo in Źródliska Park. The musicians have been honoured in competitions not only nationally, but also internationally. They develop their artistic interests on many levels – by studying sound production or by engaging in premieres of the latest works.

Lumiére ensemble

The team consisting of: Jędrzej Lemański (violin), Bartosz Paradowski (viola) and Sofie Bałazy (cello) was created in October 2022 on the initiative of students of the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Lodz. The ensemble members are united not only by passion and ambition, but also by their fascination with the art of French culture. This is what they owe their name to: la lumiére – the light, which was a source of inspiration for impressionists from Monet's "Sunrise" to "Reflections in the Water" from the first volume of Debussy's "Images".  Despite its relatively short history, the ensemble appears on music festival stages. His artistic achievements include: a performance at the international Melos festival, a concert during the 600th anniversary of the city of Lodz and a recital as part of a series of concerts on the chamber stage of the Grand Theatre in Lodz. The trio also gives concerts in numerous cultural institutions, introducing listeners to the most outstanding classical music from the Baroque to works from the 20th century.
